Automated device onboarding

One start. A repeatable setup.

A new employee needs a computer. Someone leaves and their laptop needs a fresh start. A replacement system needs to be prepared. Each one can mean hours of repetitive hands-on setup.

Last Admin’s USB-started Windows preparation workflow handles installation, system updates, supported drivers, and firmware automatically on compatible systems. Once the configured process is started, it runs through the preparation sequence with minimal hands-on effort. Our software installation automation and hardware testing tools extend that process, helping you prepare consistent systems and see what was checked before handoff.

Prepare for new hires

Build a repeatable setup around your Windows requirements and approved software, then prepare equipment ahead of the employee’s first day.

Return equipment to service

Reinstall and prepare computers for reassignment after the business has addressed employee access, required data retention, and authorization to reset the device.

Reduce repetitive installation work

Automate approved application installation and let the configured update process handle available Windows updates, supported drivers, and firmware.

See what you’re handing over

Hardware checks and reports can document specifications, battery condition, Windows activation, and detected management status, depending on the agreed testing scope.

We configure and validate the workflow for your equipment and requirements. Completion time depends on hardware, downloads, and update availability. Device preparation is coordinated with account onboarding and offboarding; it does not replace those steps. Discuss your computer setup process →

How we work

You should know what’s covered. And who’s handling it.

Changing IT providers or starting a new project should begin with a clear picture of your business, your technology, and the work ahead.

01 / Understand

Start with the business.

We talk through what interrupts your work, what you rely on, and where your current support falls short.

02 / Plan

Agree on the work.

You get a defined scope, priorities, and pricing. Hardware, onsite work, and project costs are addressed before work starts.

03 / Follow through

Keep responsibility visible.

For managed clients, we maintain the environment and report on system health, completed work, and issues that need attention.

One rack. Cameras, Wi-Fi, access control, and every device — under management.

AI with a purpose

Start with one task you want off your plate.

You don’t need to figure out every AI tool. Start with a repeatable problem: organizing information, preparing a report, or moving the same data between systems.

Last Admin helps you explore a practical solution, build a small pilot, and review the results before wider use. Tool selection includes a conversation about business data, access, ongoing costs, and human review.

Less time preparing reports

Explore workflows that gather inputs, organize information, and produce a draft your team can check.

A useful tool for your team

Prototype a task tracker, intake organizer, or dashboard around the way you actually work.

A clearer online presence

Build an AI-assisted service website with clear content, mobile layouts, and a direct path to contact you.

Staff who know where to start

Get hands-on guidance using AI for selected business tasks, with clear expectations for reviewing output.

Your technology partner

Experience that connects the technical to the practical.

Michael’s background spans Microsoft environments, networks, security, remote support, and IT operations. He brings both implementation experience and an understanding of what it takes to keep a business environment running.

His approach is direct: understand the problem, explain the options, document the work, and stay accountable. Today, that same approach extends to AI-assisted workflow design, scripting, websites, and focused business tools.

Accountability, monthly

Know what’s happening without having to ask.

Every managed client receives a monthly technology service report — the same format, every month, in plain language. Here’s what’s inside:

Monthly Technology Service Report What you can expect every month
  1. System at a glanceEvery managed area — network, devices, cameras, internet — checked and summarized in plain language, so you know what it means for your business.
  2. Updates & maintenanceWhat was updated, what was verified current, and the remote work performed during the month.
  3. Security reviewFirewall and security events checked for the month, explained without jargon.
  4. Equipment healthCore gear checked: connectivity, power headroom, temperature, storage health, and recording retention.
  5. Internet performanceAvailability, latency, and any interruptions — tracked month over month.
  6. Issues & action planAnything being watched, with the planned response. Nothing disappears into a black box.

Your report covers your environment only — client data is never published or shared. Ask what your report would cover →

Before we talk

A few straight answers.

Who is Last Admin a good fit for?

Small businesses that want ongoing responsibility for their technology without building an internal IT department. We also scope specific network, Microsoft 365, website, and automation projects.

Can you take over from our current IT provider?

Yes. We start by reviewing the environment, access, documentation, and support needs, then plan a transition with clear responsibilities.

How quickly do you respond when something breaks?

Within one business day — Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Arizona time, excluding U.S. holidays. That’s a response commitment, not a resolution promise: you’ll always know someone’s on it, and we’ll tell you upfront what the fix actually looks like.

What are your hours and onsite coverage?

Standard service hours are Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Arizona time, excluding U.S. holidays. Support is remote-first. Phoenix-area onsite work is arranged and scoped separately.

How does pricing work?

Managed service pricing depends on the environment and agreed scope. The three managed IT pillars are delivered together. Projects, hardware, cable runs, and onsite work are quoted or addressed in the agreement.

Can you automate computer setup for our team?

Yes. We can scope a USB-started preparation workflow for compatible Windows computers, along with approved software installation and hardware testing and reporting. We first validate your equipment and requirements. Existing files, employee access, and data-retention needs are addressed before a device is reset.

How do AI and app projects start?

With a specific business problem and a small, defined pilot. We agree on deliverables, review the prototype together, and determine any integrations, hosting, maintenance, or further development needed.
